Initial evaluation
An hour with a DPT: your history, movement and strength testing, hands-on assessment, and a written plan with goals and a visit schedule. You leave with exercises the same day.
One-on-one physical therapy for sports injuries, surgery recovery and the back pain that keeps coming back. Full hour with a doctor of physical therapy on your first visit, and a plan you can follow between sessions.
Ohio law generally lets you see a physical therapist without a doctor's referral (direct access). Some insurance plans still require one, and a few conditions need a physician first. We check your plan before your visit and tell you if a referral is needed.

Sprains, strains, tendon pain and overuse injuries. Load is built back gradually, with return-to-sport testing before you go full speed.
ACL, rotator cuff, joint replacement and more. We follow your surgeon's protocol and send progress notes back to their office.
Manual therapy, graded exercise and practical changes to how you sit, lift and sleep. The aim is fewer flare-ups and a plan for when they happen.
An add-on for some muscle pain, by a PT with dry needling training. Offered only after an evaluation and a review of your health history; it isn't suitable for everyone.
Four weeks of coached strength and movement work for runners, lifters and weekend athletes who want to train harder without breaking down.
Prices shown are self-pay. We're in network with most major health plans and Medicare; your cost depends on your deductible and copay, and we'll confirm it before your first visit. Physical therapy may help reduce pain and improve function, but results vary and no outcome is guaranteed.
We find what's limiting you, test strength and range, and agree on goals that matter to you, like running 5K again or sleeping on that side.

Re-test against your goals, then taper visits so you can carry on independently, with a check-in a month later.
You see the same doctor of physical therapy every visit, for the whole session. No handing you off to an aide halfway through.

Often not. Ohio, like most states, allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can usually book an evaluation yourself. Some insurance plans, Medicare situations and specific conditions still need a physician's referral or sign-off. We'll check before your visit, and if your therapist finds anything that needs a doctor's attention, we'll refer you.

It depends on the problem and your goals. Many patients come for 6 to 10 visits over four to six weeks. Your therapist will give you an estimate at the end of your evaluation and update it as you progress.
Most people feel a brief cramp or ache in the muscle. It's optional, offered only after an evaluation, and your therapist will go through your health history and get your consent first.
